1. Follow upin an appropriate way
Be honest, keep an appropriate distance, and don't be pesky. Salespeople are known to be pushy and get a bad rap for too much persistence.
2. Understand your loyal customers
What are your loyal customer buying patterns? What is your service maintenance agreement package doing for him or her?
3. Ask for feedback
Your coworkers, supervisors, and even customers will be more than happy to give you tips and feedback on your performance. You have a wealth of knowledge available to you - if you're willing to hear it.
4. HVAC training and product knowledge is key
Perhaps you just weren't armed with enough product or selling knowledge. Be sure to make HVAC training a regular part of your job.
